New Faces: Bryce Hudson

Latest piece with MOB Syndicate athlete, Bryce Hudson. Peep it and enjoy…

A Couple New Edits

Things are only getting busier and busier, which is great! I think I am working on about three different projects right now, all for three different media outlets, one of which is a big, big priority of mine and will launch on December 1st (that’s all I can say for now). Below are a couple of new Web edits I recently completed for the November issue of MX Affiliate Digital Magazine. One of SX privateer, Topher Ingalls, and the other of factory Red Bull/KTM’s, Andrew Short. Sit back, and enjoy…

Bryce Hudson Teaser

There has been an obvious lack of updates lately, but for logical reasons. I’ve been pinned for the last three weeks filming, editing, etc; I have literally not had a single day off for three weeks. However, this weekend offered some relief. I have a lot of film projects in the works that stem from stuff with MX Affiliate Digital Magazine, to some other things lined up that I am really excited about (things are really taking flight). I will have a couple new edits to release tomorrow that I am excited for everybody to see. In the meantime, though, check out this teaser for a short film/narrative piece that I am working on with MOB Syndicate rider, Bryce Hudson…

Meet Rich Kearns

I recently spent some time at Kyle Loza’s riding compound in Lake Forest, CA to continue filming for a short film project: Overlooked, Under-exposed, featuring MOB Syndicate rider, Bryce Hudson. While on location, 2010 X Games Moto X Best Trick rookie, Rich Kearns, was on hand to get in some riding. At the end of the day, Rich and I sat down to knocked out a pretty cool interview, covering all kinds of things. This is just a brief piece of our interview. The full interview with photos and more video will be featured in an upcoming issue of www.MXAffiliate.com.

Overlooked, Under-exposed

Myself and MOB Syndicate rider, Bryce Hudson, have begun work on a new FMX short film entitled, Overlook, Under-exposed. It is a lifestyle project, which has been in the works for a few months. Day one of production was last week at a undisclosed location near San Diego, CA. Unfortunately, we ran into quite a few problems and were never able to film any action. Nonetheless, we managed to capture this quick clip while Bryce was tearing down the ramp. Day two is this week, so be on the look out for more teasers and behind-the-scenes footy throughout the rest of the month.

I’m Just Me – Canon 7d

Peep this short narrative I put together the other day with my buddy, Nathan. Discovered a few new camera settings that offer a more film look/help tremendously for color grading, courtesy of a very helpful and informative Philip Bloom tutorial. I am going to start working on a brand new short film that has nothing to do with dirt bikes or action sports. Stoked on the concept and ready to push my boundaries of creativity and storytelling. Anyhoo, enjoy this quick piece…

The Final Edit

This is a compilation edit, remixed, from the May and July issue of MX Affiliate. Stoked on how it turned out. Hoping to start filming some new content for the film, MX Affiliate, and a few other very cool projects in-store once I am healed.

Intersection: First Official Trailer

I spent the weekend editing the first official teaser/trailer for the feature length I am working on entitled, Intersection. This first teaser/trailer features FMXer Destin Cantrell. This is just a microscopic glimpse of what you can expect. Destin and I still have a lot of filming ahead of us, but things are looking rad! Be sure to check back for more teasers and behind-the-scenes footage of the making of Intersection.
